Aarhus University seeks researchers to contribute to the development in Business Region Aarhus

Aarhus University and Business Region Aarhus have signed a partnership agreement with the aim of creating optimum conditions for growth and development in the business region. As a consequence, Aarhus BSS Graduate School together with Business Region Aarhus invite applications for three PhD positions in the field.

    Aarhus University and Business Region Aarhus have signed a new partnership agreement. The aim is to create optimum conditions for growth and development in the business region. Traditionally, growth policy has been a governmental responsibility, but since the start of the millennium – and especially since the financial crisis – there has been a strong focus on the role of city regions in economic development. 

    The three positions are:

    • PhD position within “Firm performance and economic growth”
    • PhD position within “Knowledge institutions, agglomeration and local innovation systems”
    • PhD position within the research project “Analyzing employees' human capital to define firm innovative performance”

    Deadline for applications is April 18th 2017.

    The starting date is 1st September 2017.
